SPOILERS BELOW!!!

Rumor is that Beyonce and The Dixie Chicks will perform together.  They will sing Bey’s “Daddy Lessons” which, if you haven’t heard it, is a decidedly country song.  The Dixie Chicks started covering the song while out on tour and…well this should be cool to watch.

Red carpet faves now are these two:

Kenny Chesney is presented The Pinnacle Award by his pal, Peyton Manning!  *NOTE:  I predicted Chesney wouldn’t win anything tonight (because he wasn’t nominated).  I am so GLAD I WAS WRONG!!!  lol

Chris Stapleton AND Dwight Yoakam…TOGETHER??  I can’t breathe.  Stop.  No don’t stop.  Amazing.

OMG Dolly.  I love you.  Amazing.  Thank you for never changing and always being a lighthouse in this crazy world.

Let me end with this:  Garth winning Entertainer of the Year is a response to…something.  It’s a throwback.  It’s nostalgia. It is of a time when the world wasn’t nutbar crazy like it is today.  It’s a sign.  Retro/Traditional/Old School country will make a glorious return.  And the women.  The women WILL REIGN in 2017.  Mark my words.
